BIR AISHWAN WILDLIFE CENTURY

Bir Aishwan wildlife century extends over a small area of 264.40 ha. The entire area of the century is flat and without undulation. The stretch of sanctuary is lies in almost rectangular, making it compact and easily manageable. It is well known wilderness area with typical ecological and biological features which can act as a repository for remnant biodiversity and wildlife of the state. It is the first declared protection area in the state. It is therefore one of the important conservation units in Punjab which can act as a center for conservation education and wildlife awareness among public.
