A single window system has been started in District Administrative Complex, Sangrur to afford various types of facilities to general public. The following application forms are entertained at the single window.

1.     Arm s License 

1.     New Arms License

2.     Renewal of Arms License

3.     Entry of Weapon in the Arms License

4.     Deletion of weapon duly entered in the Arms License

5.     Addition of Weapon in the Arms License

6.     Change of Weapon

7.     All India Arms License

 

2.    Passport

1.     New Passport

2.     Renewal of Passport

3.    Certificate

 

1.     Bachelor/Vergion

2.     Dependent Certificate

3.     Legal Heir Certificate

 

4.     Counter Signing of Documents

 

1.    Counter sign of various types of certificates and other documents.

 

5.    Copying

 

1.     Certified copies of documents are given on the basis of record available with this office .

Any One can submit forms at the Single Window on any working day. As soon as the applicant submits the form at the single window a Computerized receipt indicating date to  collect  documents is given. The applicant gets his documents on the fixed date. As soon as the Passport of applicant is received, he is informed on his mobile phone. For this purpose one senior assistant and five clerks have been  put on duty at the Single window. Single window system is operating under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner(Gen). If the applicant come across any difficulty in getting his work done, he can contact Assistant Commissioner(Gen). In case the applicant is not satisfied with his work he can see the Additional Deputy Commissioner(Gen) in Room no 6. If Additional Deputy Commissioner is not available he can see the Deputy Commissioner. The Deputy Commissioner meets the applicants daily.

      Besides above, Sangat Darshan is organized on first and third Wednesday of every month to hear and redress the complaints at the spot. The complainant can seeks information about his complaint in the CEA Branch, where two clerks one senior Assistant and one Superintendent are posted. Assistant Commissioner(Gri) hears the complaints of the public every day.
