within 6 months of the
accident to the Claim Settlement Commissioner (Deputy Commissioner), who
gets an enquiry conducted through the
Claim Enquiry Officer (SDM) and decides the claim on the basis of report of
SDM. If allowed, the cases is sent to National Insurance Co. For making the
payment of claim
( Rs. 25,000/- ) in case of death and upto Rs. 12,500/- in case of
injury. |

Tamra Patra, jail certificate and evidence by two co-prisoners. Case must be duly verified by the SDM concerned. |

procedure to avail the benefit |
The freedom fighter himself applies for grant of pension which is given by Centre and the State govt. He has to apply to the Deputy Commissioner along with 7 passport size photographs, a certified copy of Tamra Patra. After processing and verification from the office the case is forwarded to the Govt. of Punjab, Department of General Administration, Political Branch ( Freedom Fighters Wing ), Chandigarh for sanction. |

X.En. PWD, PUDA, Town Planning, EO, Nagar Council, X.En. Public Health ( Govt. Works ) and Electrical Inspector, |

Punjab in the Department of

The applicant applies at the single window of the
office of the District Magistrate for
issue of an arms license. The
application is processed by the branch, where a photograph is taken in the
computer. Police report is sought from the local police. If the same is
positive, the licensee is heard in person by the District Magistrate, who
issues a license if satisfied. |

The applicant applies to the District Magistrate for issue of an NOC. His application is processed and reports from SDM concerned, Divisional Town Planner, Divisional Forest Officer, S.E. PWD (B&R) or X.En. Mandi Board, DDPO or EO MC and X.En. Drainage are obtained as to whether they have any objection. If they have no objection, then NOC is given in consultation with the DFSC, who is the convener of the Committee constituted for grant of NOC. |
